Ahhh, it's been about our best Spring since I've been here in VT, so I guess that would be since 1989. I'm sure we've had a couple of other really, really nice Springs, but this has certainly been one of the best, weather-wise. We really didn't even have much of "Mud Season" this year. Our Magnolia Tree bloomed early in April this year, and the crocuses peeked through early as well. Just so we didn't start thinking that it might always be like this, Mother Nature reminded us the last week of April that we still are living in VT. So, yes, the snow blanketed the daffodils and tulips on April 27-28! As is also typical of this late snow, however, it was gone quickly, as the temperatures were supposed to reach into the high 70's by the weekend. Thank Goodness.

New Rookies Meet in Baltimore at NEQ
Well, they're not quite teammates yet, but they will be next fall. Courtney and Megan were both accepted Early Decision to MIDD this winter. They had the opportunity this past weekend to be opponents at the NEQ Club Tournament in Baltimore. The future teammates met each other, posed for this picture and started to get acquainted, which will be great come next fall when they arrive on campus among the other 600+ new students.
